GYL is pleased to announce the addition of Mary Bermudez, CPA, MST as its newest Partner. This year closes with an exciting announcement from GYL as we celebrate the admission of a new Partner to the firm. Mary Bermudez, CPA, MST and now Partner with GYL, has distinguished herself through the energy and dedication she has put into her work to benefit both clients and colleagues. She is driven by our same passion to see the businesses she serves grow and succeed.
Her hard work and commitment to quality is shown by the impact she has made on her clients at her former firm, Insight Consulting, CPAs, of which she was the Founder and Managing Director. Ms. Bermudez’ Firm has now merged with GYL and we warmly welcome Mary, her staff and her clients. We look forward to serving her clients and enhancing the services they now have available to them, and likewise, for our clients to benefit from Mary’s formidable and sought-after expertise.
We are proud to have Mary joining GYL as she shares our firm’s values by delivering exceptional client service and providing support and mentorship within the Firm. Our merged firms’ clients, and Mary’s new colleagues at GYL, will benefit from her diverse background serving a variety of clients across a broad spectrum of industries. These include privately held companies, automotive dealerships, manufacturers, financial services, trusts and high net worth individuals, amongst others.
Ms. Bermudez is a graduate of USC’s Leventhal School of Accounting (’95) and obtained her Masters in Taxation from Golden Gate University (’03). Deep experience with national accounting firms gave her the insight and skillset to address complex tax situations, manage a tax practice and serve as a role model to like-minded, up and coming professionals.
Mary is a member of multiple non-profit boards to benefit the communities in which she and her clients operate. In the recent past, she has also served as both a tax panel expert for the USC Alumni Association and a presenter at a national, women-owned entrepreneur group.
