Community Involvement

At GYL, we are dedicated to being involved in our local and global communities. Members of our Firm are involved with Rotary Clubs, California Society of Certified Public Accountants’ Financial Literacy programs, and other charities. Support comes in the form of donations and volunteering time. In addition, our Firm collected clothing and food donations to support the Family Resource Center in Rancho Cucamonga.

Our team members’ involvement with the Rotary Clubs in Southern California allows us to help both local and global communities. Local communities benefit through youth programs such as sponsoring athletic events and providing Christmas gifts and new shoes for needy children. Literacy programs provide books for children. We have also provided support to global communities including Indonesia and Japan following the tsunamis that were devastating to those countries, Rotary’s flagship cause of working toward polio eradication, and providing medical, playground, computer, and construction equipment to Argentina, South Africa, Kenya, and other African countries.

CalCPA’s financial literacy programs provide education to high school and college age students. Presentations have been made by a member of our Firm in Rancho Cucamonga and Pomona, and we continue to look for opportunities to help improve the financial knowledge of others.
